Who Am I?
I go by the nom de guerre of Lane Carson (he was the hero -
played by Richard Webb - in The Invisible Monster serial). Alias Lane Carson is a (medically)
retired school teacher who, during a debilitating illness, set up (with the
help of my software engineer, son) this website in early 2004. It is his
passion and (according to my wife) his obsession. It has helped him through
the illness and he is the better for it. He loves that which he does here É
(sorry for all the brackets at this early stage of the website - what the
heck its my website, afterall!) My Collection
Over the last several years, I
have set about collecting movie series and movie serials, as well as classic
television, adventure, mystery, noir, Western & Sci-Fi titles. This
website is my Personal Collection of
shows that I either enjoyed as a kid or else wished I'd seen as a kid. I have sourced my collection from
all over the world including (and especially) here in Australia, where
priceless relics of pre and post WWII cinema (dispatched to our shores to
entertain US troops) have come to light, thanks to the marvels of modern
communication (and treks into outback Australia) My various collections are
